Rhythm society is been continuously working for a better understanding of our diverse cultural heritage and keeping them alive.

Rhythm Society also has its teaching centers in Dehradun and New Delhi for the propagation of Indian classical performing arts where time-to-time Maestros of their own field impart their musical experience with the budding students of the society.

PROJECTS

Rhythm Society thrives on its annual festival “Smriti”, apart from workshops and teaching in the cities of Dehradun and Delhi. “Smriti” accentuates bringing both upcoming and maestros together in same platform to gain maximum value for the both, touching upon the core idea of attracting new generations to experience the cultural wealth and its progressive settings.

Abhyāsa - Rhythm Society, in celebration of its 15 years in 2023, introduced one more project, "Abhyāsa," under which Maestros of different genres give masterclasses to the students of Rhythm Society to make students comprehend the complex inter-linkages between the classical dance tradition and other classical performing arts.

“Smriti” seeks to conserve and promote an awareness of our rich Indian classical Music & Dance and to facilitate an awareness of the deeper and subtler values towards our diverse cultural heritage. This two-day festival will be seeing an amalgamation of Maestros of Indian Classical Music as well as talented younger generation Musicians and Dancers.

This four-day festival is a tribute to Late Dr. Madhukar Anand, who was since many years living in Dehradun & Delhi contributing towards Indian Classical Dance and Music. “Smriti” is a blend of country’s eminent maestros with the vibrancy of exceptional young talents who the society believes are going to be the Maestros of coming years.
